Product Description
 

The thermostatic head has a particular principle of the device. Additions and manufacturer-specific features characterize some models. But the concept of them is similar.


Thermostatic Head with Remote Sensor TF-13 and TF-13C controls the heating unit and reads room temperature further away from the radiator. It consists of a valve and the head of the thermostat itself. Inside the latter is a sealed corrugated chamber, and it is called a bellows. This chamber is filled with a unique substance that, when heated, expands in a certain way.

 

The system starts to press on the valve stem, which blocks the coolant's flow. As the material inside the bellows, liquid, gas, or solid can be used. By the type of such filler, the device's speed of response to ambient temperature changes depends on this.
